Panda’s All-Star Nickvitational for BCRF

Panda’s All-Star Nickvitational for BCRF

Kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness month and Panda’s new official charity partner, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation: Panda and some of the largest content creators in the gaming and esports space joined forces to raise money for the BCRF in a release-day Influencer invitational Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl tournament on October 5th!

Our competitors had one week to raise money for BCRF to bid in a character select auction. Each player could win only one character to use in the event -- so they had to outbid each other to ensure they lock in the character they want! All proceeds of the auction were donated to BCRF.

The single-elimination bracket kicked-off immediately after the auction; with all the action streamed on the Panda Twitch channel with our hosts Alpharad and Coney and the full VOD released on our YouTube channel!

But that was just the start of what Panda has planned for this month! Also benefiting BCRF, we ran the first major online tournament for the newest anime fighting game to release, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, with some intense action all the way through on October 7th. A few days later on October 10th we returned to the Nickelodeon fighter for the Toon Showdown Open, a free-to-play online tournament with a $500 prize pool. All of this competitive action all to raise money for Breast Cancer, we couldn’t be more floored with how much community support they all recieved!

Panda has one more surprise in store for the month of October to benefit BCRF... and if you’re a Street Fighter fan you won’t want to miss it!

If you’re looking for a stylish way to join in on the support for BCRF this October, our merch team has you covered with our BCRF Hold Forward collection. The line features our iconic Hold Forward hoodie, tee and Dad Hat in pink! 25% of all purchases go directly to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
