He is a man who needs little-to-no introduction: Panda Global is honored to announce that Justin “JWong” Wong will be joining our ranks as a new staff member and content creator!
Regarded as one of the greatest fighting game players in the world, JWong has had an astounding impact in the history of various competitive fighting game titles. Hailing from New York City, JWong began rising as a formidable fighting game player with the release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 in 2000. With his strategic playstyle, awareness, and ability to turn around matches against all odds, JWong would continue to dominate the competitive scene.
Even so, it was JWong's ability to apply his talent and fluency of fighting games to other titles that made him a dominant player in the scene for years to come. JWong has now won nine EVO Champion titles in games such as Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. He has also claimed first place victories across other fighting game franchises, such as Tekken, Mortal Kombat, SoulCalibur, and more.
