FGC Stands for Fall Guys Community Now

It was only a matter of time until we became a battle royale esports org, I suppose. If you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple weeks, the latest battle royale game, Fall Guys, has taken our community by storm. From Kitana Prime to Coney, it seems like now you’re more likely to see our Pandas playing it regularly… almost more than the games we picked them up for? That is until now! We decided to get with the times and create the first ever Fall Guys competitive team! Members include: Coney, Fullstream, Jaaahsh, Marss, and Wolfey

Since the game’s release, the team has been “working” hard to get those crowns up and what better way than passing on some of that tech to our amazing fans. So let’s check in and see what’s good about some of the major modes from Coney and some the gang.

HERE

Dizzy Heights

One of the first modes you may encounter, this obstacle course that features a lot of the staples in Fall Guys: spinning obstacles, rolling boulders, and chaotic crowds pushing you off the course.

“Run WITH the spirals, running against them takes way too long. Do NOT fall on the second spinner part or it’s gonna be super hard to qualify.”
- Coney
“If you’re jumping from one spinner to another spinner, especially on the 2nd group of them, doing a grounded dive is much better than a normal jump as it will send you farther faster.”
- Fullstream

See Saw

Similar to Dizzy Heights, See Saw is a race on an obstacle course but involves — you guessed it — SEE SAWS that can slant enough for players to fall down.

“Simply touching the platform is good enough to reach the checkpoint! Because of this, you can run into the platform wall, fall of the map, and then spawn at the furthest point on the next checkpoint. This is often faster than running across the platform the intended way!”
- Fullstream
“When jumping onto a slanted platform, hit dive RIGHT before hitting the ground to bounce and prop yourself back up. This stops you from breaking your ankles on the jump.”
- Coney

Slime Climb

Once again a race, however what separates this one from the previous entries is the impending slime flood that eliminates players upon touching. This map really brings out the chaos in players as you really find out who is trying just to survive and who is thirsty for carnage by pushing off innocent guys.

“IT’S NOT A RACE. Play slow if you’re not confident on each part, and feel free to wait for the pack to pass on the first section if you’re worried about bumping a ton of people. Going slow on SC is the key if you’re not ready to boost through it.”
- Coney
“I read what Coney said, and I fully agree about Slime Climb. It’s not a race. Getting first doesn’t matter. When it comes to Slime Climb, take your time. Let peeps go ahead of you if you need to. And if there are aggressors standing towards the end or on the second yellow cylinder, jump-dive is your best friend.”
- Jaaahsh

Egg Scramble

Instead of every Fall Guy for themselves with all of the race modes, Egg Scramble is a team focused mode split into three different color teams — red, blue, and yellow. The objective is to retrieve eggs from the center of the map into your team’s net located in one of the three corners. Players have a chance of stealing other team’s eggs to eliminate the team with the lowest amount by the end of the round.

“Simply touching the platform is good enough to reach the checkpoint! Because of this, you can run into the platform wall, fall of the map, and then spawn at the furthest point on the next checkpoint. This is often faster than running across the platform the intended way!”
- Fullstream
