Panda has officially established our weekly Discord community tournament series, Bamboo Battles!
Through the dedication and effort of our Panda community team leaders, Jaahsh and Chez, Panda was able to organize Bamboo Battles; a series of weekly online tournament events featuring brackets for various games that are popular within our community.
Since the beginning of this year, Bamboo Battles has hosted two weekly brackets for games such as Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Chess, Rivals of Aether, Footsies, and many more game titles as well. Currently, we are running Bamboo Battles, which exclusively hosts Smash Ultimate, and Bamboo Wednesdays, which will be hosting a different game each week.
The Panda community has grown tremendously since our official rebrand. As a result, Panda wanted to provide our supporters and fans a space where they can battle against one another in an online tournament setting.
So far, we have seen an incredible amount of participation from our Discord community in these weekly events. With some of our Bamboo Battles reaching over 100 entrants.
Bamboo Battles are hosted every Monday and Wednesday at 6pm EST. Each Monday, we host our weekly Smash Ultimate online singles bracket. While on Wednesdays, we host other competitive games and switch which game we focus on each week. These tournaments are region locked in North America.
If you would like to compete in our future Bamboo Battles, make sure to join our official Panda Discord for updates. Each week, we’ll be switching up which competitive game will be featured on our Wednesday weekly tournaments. So make sure to keep an eye out for when your favorite game is potentially featured in these upcoming weeks.
